Between users: Your public profile, skills, and proposal content are visible to clients reviewing proposals. Clients' job postings are visible to all freelancers.
Service providers: Stripe (payments), Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (AI), Resend (email). Each bound by data processing agreements.
Legal requirements: We may disclose data when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights and safety.
Business transfers: In a merger, acquisition, or sale, your data may be transferred with notice provided.
With your consent: Any other sharing requires your explicit permission.

4. AI & Automated Processing

InLancingAI uses AI (powered by Anthropic Claude) to generate job briefs, match candidates, generate proposal drafts, and assist with dispute resolution. AI-generated content is always presented as a suggestion — final decisions on hiring, contracts, and disputes remain with you or our human review team.

5. Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active
Contract and payment records are retained for 7 years (legal requirement)
Messages are retained for 3 years after contract completion
You may request deletion of your account and non-legal data at any time

Correction: Update inaccurate data via Settings
Deletion: Request account and data deletion
